Welcome to the Georgia Chapter of the American String Teachers Association Summer Camp Website!

The ASTA Summer Orchestra camp is going to be restructured a bit for 2011.  We are excited about the changes and hope you'll be able to enjoy quality string education and have fun with us in 2011!  Instead of 3 sessions we're changing to a two session format.  While this will limit our ability to service very young students (3rd grade and under) it will allow us to open our camp to students through 9th grade.  Applications will be out in December and more details are below!

 ASTA Camp I:

This is the perfect first or second camp experience for students who have a little experience but aren't quite ready  for the rigors of the advanced camp.  Intermediate/Advanced students who have just completed 4th or 5th grade with 2+ years of experience as well as beginning 6th grade students (1+ year of experience) will find this camp the perfect balance of challenges and fun! 

ASTA Camp 2:

This is the best camp around for intermediate to advanced 6th through 9th grade orchestra students with 2+ years of experience who want to hone their skills and have fun at the same time!
